The project enhances cybersecurity in industrial automation systems by developing an advanced, modular anomaly detection solution tailored to interconnected operational technology (OT) and IT networks.
It combines passive network traffic analysis and deception-based techniques with cutting-edge AI methods – including large language models and machine vision – to effectively identify cyber threats and operational anomalies without compromising organizational data security.
Designed for easy integration and minimal maintenance, the solution offers adaptability to evolving AI technologies and customer-specific needs, ensuring lasting competitive advantage. Transparency is a key aspect, achieved through explicit feature selection, clear documentation of AI processes, and modular architecture, making the system resource-efficient, accurate, and marketable internationally.
The project will be carried out under the leadership of Dr. Rudolf Ferenc in consortium with Balasys IT Zrt.
