Dr. Zoltán Alexin and Dr. Attila Kertész (Department of Software Engineering) participated in the 1st EUGLOH Data protection training, organized by the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences.
English-speaking PhD students from various countries participated in the training, many from different faculties of the University of Szeged, as well as participants from Portugal and Norway. The teaching team also included a law professor from Novi Sad.
The aim of the training is to enable students to understand the basics of data protection and make them more conscious data users by raising their awareness regarding the data protection challenges affecting them at the university when doing research on different databases and later on during their professional lives.
The course consisted of two parts: Module 1 comprised three online sessions, while Module 2 were in-person sessions held on November 25, 26, and 27.
Dr. Zoltán Alexin organized the panel on health data protection on the 27th.
