The paper titled “Exploring the Synergy of Fog Computing, Blockchain, and Federated Learning for IoT Applications: A Systematic Literature Review”, authored by Wilson Valdez Solis, Dr. Attila Kertész (Department of Software Engineering, University of Szeged), and Juan Marcelo Parra-Ullauri (Smart Internet Lab, University of Bristol) was published in the Q1 journal IEEE Access.

This paper explores the integration of Fog Computing (FC), Blockchain (BC), and Federated Learning (FL) to address challenges in data processing, privacy, and security within the Internet of Things (IoT) domain. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 40 papers, it assesses the current state-of-the-art and proposes a novel framework for implementing FL and BC within FC environments for IoT applications. The findings highlight the advantages and limitations of this integration, offering insights for designing robust IoT solutions.
