Students of the Institute of Informatics held their lectures for the Scientific Students' Associations on the 30th of November.
The students were evaluated by Dr. Márk Jelasity (Professor, Head of Department), Dr. László Nyúl (Associate Professor, Head of Department), and Dr. Árpád Beszédes (Associate Professor).
Out of the six lectures within the Informatics section, three students were sent and prepared by the Department of Software Engineering:
- BENCE BOGENFÜRST (Engineering Information Technology BSc, supervisors: Dr. Gábor Antal, Zoltán Ságodi): Testing the automatic patching capability of GPT-4 using real vulnerabilities
- ISTVÁN TIBOR KOLLÁTH (Computer Science MSc, supervisor: Dr. Gábor Antal): Creating and using a reproducible Python bug database for automatic bug fixing
- VIKTOR SZVORENY (Computer Science MSc, supervisor: Dr. László Vidács, Dr. András Kicsi): Generation, stylistic analysis and comparison of texts in Hungarian based on social media posts
Bence Bogenfürst placed 1st and István Tibor Kolláth won 3rd place with their work!
