The Optimal Management of Demand (OMD) project’s first review meeting was held successfully on the 23rd of June.
The OMD project, which started on the 1st of January 2022, is a collaborative effort between the University of Szeged (Department of Software Engineering), its partner FrontEndART Ltd., and nine other partners from five other countries. At the time of the review, the project is about halfway through, and all developments were found to be going according to plan.
The three-year initiative aims to develop a unified customer request management framework based on artificial intelligence solutions that can automatically and cost-effectively assign agents to the right tasks in multiple sectors - healthcare, justice, e-commerce, consumer electronics and software development.
USZ staff are mainly involved in the research and development of methods based on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
